MHA #13- Monday Morning

It had been a nice New Year's Eve with Cutter in the apartment. At some point, they both had fallen asleep on the couch together. The sun was just coming up when Connor woke up and realizing going back to sleep wasn't going to happen he got up from the couch. After pulling the blanket up around Cutter and making sure he was in a semi-decent position on the couch, Connor made his way to the kitchen for a cup of coffee. And with that done he staggered out to the balcony and sat down. He glanced down at the ankle monitor and took a long drink of his coffee as he watched the sun come up.

"Ya know... I think between the two of us we could manage to convince him to do it at least once" Connor laughed.

Sorry Becker you don't stand a chance against the two of them!

He really didn’t.

Cutter grinned at that, “aye, I definitely think between the two of us we can get a repeat, Becker doesn’t know what’s missing out on,”

Connor smiled. It felt good to be able to just sit and relax for a change, talk about the future and enjoy time together. It was day one of several months that lay ahead of them, but he was going to take it one day at a time and today was shaping up to be a good day.

Cutter returned that smile as he settled in his chair, taking a moment to enjoy just how nice it was that he could take this moment with Connor, he drank his coffee and was looking forward to the year ahead after the challenges of last year.
