Connor couldn't help the faint smile at that. He missed Cutter too... more than he cared to admit. And he knew some of that was the booze, but he also couldn't deny that it was rooted in the actual painful emptiness that had been left since he and Cutter had gotten back to Fandom and everything started falling apart.
