There, on the floor, surrounded by boxes and piles of things from the past and dreams of the future, Connor was the happiest he had ever been. Right there, with Cutter, that was all he needed. Connor was happy, he just hoped Cutter knew how happy as he returned the kiss and rubbed his thumb over the nape of his neck.
